Rodman Paul, known as Tad, was born in Pasadena, California. His education includes a Bachelor’s degree from Harvard College and a Master’s degree from the Columbia University School of Architecture and Planning. He has practiced architecture in NYC with Tarek Ashkar (1984-‘03), with Douglas Larson (2004-‘17), and in 2017 formed a partnership with Michael Fasulo. He is a long-standing member of the American Institute of Architects.

Throughout his career, Tad has focused on using the unique qualities of each project to integrate exceptional design with the diverse needs of clients and contextual sensitivities. He looks at the continuum of architectural history, from the classical to the romantic, from the modern to the vernacular, as a constant background for generating new architectural ideas. From careful research into client needs and lifestyle, and from precedent, both urban and rural, an order emerges to structure each project. Tad strongly believes that whether new projects are marked by contrast to or by integration with cultural and historical contexts, the subtleties of his signature style will enhance the environments he creates.
